I started Ashington Loft Conversions in 2009 after ten years working in construction across the North East. I grew up in Blyth and have lived in the Ashington area for most of my adult life — I know these streets and these houses better than most.

I set up on my own because I was fed up seeing people get stung by companies that quote one price and charge another. We give a fixed price at the survey and that's what you pay. Simple as that. We've built our reputation one job at a time on the back of that.

Our team is small and hands-on — I'm on every site personally. We do roughly 30–40 conversions a year across Ashington and the surrounding areas, and we don't take on more than we can handle properly.
